Just a little bit of advice from a first-year who really should have procrastinated less and worked harder.
1) Hand in everything- even if you think you won't do very well, hand everything in. Even if it's only half-finished. Half-marks is better than no marks.
2) Do actually do things as you're supposed to do them, and not last-minute. You'll be a lot less stressed out, trust me.
3) Get your accomodation for next year sorted out as soon as you possibly can. Whether it be a house you're renting with your mates, or going back into Halls, get it sorted! Especially if you're going back into halls like me. Places in Halls go faster than they do for non-university accomodation, so keep on top of your application! Plague the accomodation office at your university if you have to!
It's only first year, the time to make your mistakes and learn from them.
